What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injections used to fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin.
As a skilled practitioner I’m able to sculpt and contour the skin of your face reducing unwanted wrinkles and give you a more youthful appearance.
Popular areas to add volume and fullness include the nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines) and marionette lines (the sad lines in the corner of the mouth towards the chin).
The results of dermal fillers can be seen between six to fifteen months depending on the type of dermal filler used.
If you’re thinking of having Dermal Fillers carried out be aware that makeup is to be avoided for 24hrs after treatment and to allow time for swelling to reduce if you’ve got a forthcoming event planned.
You will be offered a local anaesthetic cream prior to the treatment. I’ll inject the filler in a series of small injections and massage the area giving you an immediate result.
Your full post treatment instructions will be discussed fully with you on the day, however if you would like further information don’t hesitate to contact me.
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid for skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It can be used on the face, neck, decollete, arms, hands and knees, or any part of your body where the skin shows visible signs of ageing. This gives you a noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness, and lines are minimized.
Hyaluronic acid is best known as a ‘filler’ and is usually used to give volume to lips or to contour other areas of the face. Profhilo differs from the usual fillers in a number of ways due to its structure which allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration and smooth or ‘remodel’ the skin.
How Does it Work?
